Don't Heckle The Supervillain

New Year wrap up.

Well, I think it's fair to say we're fairly entrenched in the new year. I don't think it's going anywhere. Yup, the new year is here to stay.

Current standing: Fair to well.

After surgery in late November the recovery seems to be moving along nicely. Without hesitation I will say that my nose is the best I can remember it being, which is to say that I probably didn't notice it going to crap until it was too late but now it's back to a state of normalacy that I don't even remember. To sum up (too late) I'm really happy with the fix on my deviated septum.

The throat is still causing trouble. The slightest little infection causes my remaining one and one quarter tonsil to swell. And with the rash of illness around this time of year, swell it has my friend. I'm back on steroids, hopefully not for too long. Ah, yes, never did get around to mentioning that the only took out three quarters of one tonsil. Why? My tonsils were so large that they had to keep repositioning inside my throat which caused even more swelling. Ultimately, the doc decided to pull out opting for safety. Good thing too because they had a hard time bringing me out of it. My lungs filled with fluid, it was a bad scene. So bottom line, they only took out most of one tonsil. They still charged me for both though.

Finally, Krispy Creme makes a good damn product. I don't care about their profit restatement. Someone brought in a bunch to work this morning. Good stuff. Damn. Fricken donut holes are like little sugar coated pieces of crack.
