Don't Heckle The Supervillain

I put on my robe and wizard hat.

This is perhaps the funniest thing I've read in a while.

The dude was either a genius for screwing with the other gir...uh, individual? or one of the sickest people in the world.

That is all.

Not me, but I mean that in the nicest way.

Several friends are getting married in the coming months. Chronologically, Mark and Cara on May 1st, Ross and Kayla on May 18th and Neal and Michelle sometime between May 18th and May 22nd, but they're reception is July 10th.

Naturally, this has led me to think about the holy institution lately.

I'm not made for getting married. I'm just not. The other night I stayed up until 3am and at some point between 2am and 3am I had a bloody nose. I get itchy in the middle of the night and can toss and turn for hours. I go to the grocery store and buy the food I'm going to eat the night I make it. In Grosse Point Blank John Cusak's character says "I've always felt very temporary about myself." I don't feel this way about myself but I'm not very consistent, I guess, is the word. My plans change on a whim, I have no pattern, no set routine and I like my life that way. A marriage would not do well under these circumstances and, honestly, I tried changing for a girl once, it wasn't me and I'm never letting myself get that way again. I just don't think there is a woman in the world who could actually deal with my lifestyle. So, it's not for me but then I'm certainly not one to be looked to as a template for how to live.
