Funny and sad at the same time.
That is all.
It's a primitive culture.
The last few weeks have just been nothing more than a sea of frustration.
Things that are pissing me off...
My
car insurance is going up...AGAIN. This is the second time in two months. That's right, they raised it in September and now they're raising it again. Sure, it's only $4 dollars but at this rate I'll be paying over $90 dollars a month by this time next year. That's just unacceptable. Has anything changed? No. No tickets, no accidents, no nothing. I'm driving the same car, the same distance. But that's just not good enough for these insurance fuckers. Noooo. They're just greedy bastards who line their pockets any chance they get. Motherfuckers! They don't DO anything except take my money and yet for some reason they keep raising my goddamn rates every couple of months like this is some commodity that's becoming more and more scarce! Bullshit. There are one of a million companies that could insure me so WHY are the rates universally HIGH? Because the insurance industry are a greedy bunch of motherfuckers who are a fucking leech on society.
On a separate note, I turned 27 not too long ago. November 5th to be exact. I ended up not feeling well and went home early from work. I was going to take myself out to a nice dinner at
Ruth's Chris as a treat. All I wanted on my birthday was to eat an agreeable meal. Did I? Nope. Why? I was instructed not to by friends who claimed they would take me out. So I came home and ate pizza, on my motherfucking birthday. Wheee. Great way to celebrate getting a year older. Oh, and have my friends taken me out to eat, now going on two weeks later? No. And I knew they wouldn't, in fact I told one of them point blank that I knew they wouldn't get it together because I'm the equivalent of the ugly step-sister in this group, so I knew they actually wouldn't take time out of their schedules to actually do this with me. And I'm not angry about the fact that they haven't. I'm angry because I wanted to go on my birthday and I was told not to. I wouldn't have minded going by myself and enjoying it, I wanted to celebrate my birthday. But I didn't because I was told that my friends wanted to join me, well that's fine but follow through. So now my birthday is long gone and I didn't do a damn thing to celebrate it. That's what pisses me off.
Things that are making me happy...
I got some neat stuff for my birthday.
Cooking stuff from my dad and
popcorn factory caramel corn from my mom and sister. I got everything I wanted (save the agreeable meal mentioned above). So I'm happy.
I have only four weeks until I go home for X-mas/vacation and only three of them are full weeks, one week is broken up by Thanksgiving. Two weeks away from the job, two weeks in Wisconsin, two weeks to just enjoy.
Finally, my sister's birthday is coming up. I got
her gift and sent it out on Saturday. I think it's something she'll like and I found a fun card. So I'm happy for my little sis, she's made it through another year.
That's our story so far.
That is all.
Funny, as long as you're not Tony
Actual conversation on ICQ:
Tony: our worst fears have been manifested
Tony:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/artisan/the_punisher/trailer/
Me: What? Do you think I'm stupid? I'm not going to watch that!
Tony: you need to
Me: No way in hell.
Tony: someone needs to share in my utter pain
Me: The last punisher movie promo I saw was Dolf Lungren, I still haven't recovered.
Me: No. You suffer alone.
Me: Quit spreading your misery!
Tony: DAMN YOU
Me: Yes, damn me for not "punishing" myself.
Me: That was an awesome pun.
Me: OR awesome pun-isher!
Tony: go away
Me: HAHAHAHA
Tony: go away and never come back
Me: HAHAHAAH
If he denies it I have the ICQ history. I'm not saying it's
Bash worthy but I think it's pretty amusing.
That is all.
